Preservice Teachers' Professional Learning Community Re-Imagined : Virtual Reality Teaching Circle

Kurzfassung/Abstract

This practical report (Praxisbericht) introduces the Virtual Reality Teaching Circle (VR-TC), an innovative professional learning community (PLC) model for preservice teacher education. Integrating VR simulations, peer feedback, and structured reflection, VR-TC enables authentic, iterative, and collaborative learning. Through two examples of guided and self-organized implementations, the report proposes using this model to reimagine practice-based teacher education as a collective, technology-enhanced, and scalable approach to developing reflective and adaptive teaching competence.
