Kurzfassung/Abstract
To make EMST (EMVT) more accessible, the 2024 Yearbook has also been published as an easy-to-read ebook (e.g., with the free Kindle app).
The theory, practice, and research of Emotion- and Mentalization Supporting Therapy are presented concisely and understandably. This allows readers to recognize and understand differences and similarities with related therapy approaches. The authors believe that the combination of emotion and mentalization support/metacognition support represents a significant benefit for psychotherapy, which is significantly less evident in established therapy approaches. This approach is very new and was first published in 2021.
