Motivationale Orientierungen von Studierenden im Grundschullehramt bezogen auf die Perspektiven des Sachunterrichts

Kurzfassung/Abstract

The paper focusses on primary school teacher training students’ interest and self-efficacy referring to the perspectives of General Studies. Empirical re-sults of comparative studies of these five perspectives are scarce. Therefore 430 students answered a questionnaire on their interest in teaching the dif-ferent perspectives of General Studies and their self-efficacy teaching these subjects. The confirmatory factor analysis indicates that the five-factor-model (indicating five distinctive perspectives) has the best fitting values. In addition their self-efficacy and interest in teaching geography and science is high compared to the other perspectives of General Studies.
