Edukacja religijna w Polsce : czas na zamianę? [Religious education in Poland : time for a change?]

Kurzfassung/Abstract

The purpose of the article is to draft a proposal for a conceptual change in religious education in Poland in such a way, that the teaching of religion during „accelerated” secularization is close to the needs of children and young people, and that it remains to the tasks set by the Church. The proposed informational and educational model of religious education, whose core in the Polish context could be the personalist pedagogy of dialogue by J. Tarnowski, assumes not only the specificity and integrity of social phenomena and individual experiences, but its implementation would allow linking in their assumptions problems that students struggle with their families, as well as „building bridges” between different worldviews.
