Zwischen Evolution und Revolution : auf dem Weg zu einem responsiven Verständnis von Transformation

Kurzfassung/Abstract

This article assumes that the performance of the concept of transformation is related to the paradox that, in view of the socio-ecological crises, a comprehensive transformation of our lifestyle and economic style is necessary, but that this cannot be intentionally planned and designed. The tension between changing agency and systemic dynamism, which is peculiar to modern societies, is framed in terms of theory of society and then semantically specified with the terms revolution and evolution. The reflections form the foundation for an understanding of transformation the emancipative effect of which leads to a relational understanding of reality. Based on this, an understanding of transformation in the sense of a responsive learning process is proposed.
