Kurzfassung/Abstract
Although populism has educational consequences, the problem has not received much attention among education researchers so far. -The few publications in this field most agree with the assumption that a critical analysis of populism can provide teachers and students with the opportunity to enrich democratic and political education, and to develop pluralist attitudes. The aim of this article is to present the phenomenon of populism as a challenge to democracy and education, as well as difficulties and perspectives for all educational processes and influences in the face of the populist challenges of the present day.
