Provision of Resources in a Data Processing System for Services Requested

Kurzfassung/Abstract

In order to provide resources in a data processing system for services requested, the provision of the resources occurs by means of a plurality of data processing systems based on an optimization problem. Resources for a selected service are only provided by a definable subset of the data processing systems. Resources for a selected group of services are provided by different data processing systems associated with a service. Two services having chronologically substantially complementary resource requirements are associated with the same data processing system.
